Oliver Winery Wins The Governor's Cup
Indy International Wine Competition

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana—Oliver Winery has done it again by recently being awarded the Governor's Cup at the 2007 Indy International Wine Competition. This is the second time since 2005 that Oliver Winery has won this prestigious award. The Governor's Cup is presented to the most award-winning Indiana winery at the competition. Oliver Winery took home 28 medals including five gold, 15 silver, six bronze and two concordance gold medals at the competition that was held July 26th – 28th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

The Indy International Wine Competition is the largest competition in the entire country with more than 3,200 wines entered this year from the United States and other countries including Canada, Portugal, Spain, France and Germany just to name a few. The goal of the competition is to identify, reward, and promote excellence in winemaking at the commercial and amateur levels.
