Sauvignon Blanc, from our point of view, is best fermented entirely cool in stainless steel to capture its fresh tropical fruit flavor and aroma. Cleanliness and protection from oxygen are key in capturing these characters. Following a long, cool fermentation, the wine is given a light filtration through our pressure leaf filter.
The flavor and aromas are along the lines of peach and melon. The finish is nicely balanced between the faintest residual sugar and cleansing acidity.

Bright and refreshing aromas with flavors of peach and melon. This vintage is has softer fruit and not as much traditional Sauvignon Blanc grassiness. The finish is nicely balanced.
We were able to source some great fruit from the Cole Ranch appellation in California. Cole Ranch is the smallest recognized appellation in North America at less then 1/4 square mile. This part of California produces Sauvignon Blanc with a melon characteristic rather than the grassy herbaceousness that is common with this variety.

To this vintage, we added a touch of Gewurztraminer to accentuate the fruit qualities of this wine.
