Our hilltop vineyard in Southern Indiana is a magical place.
No one expects sweeping rows of vines to peek out from the rural farms and wooded landscape in the rolling hills of Southern Indiana. Oliver Winery's Creekbend Vineyard is breathtaking.
The 54-acre Monroe County site is ideally suited for growing wine grapes. The hilltop location and well-drained limestone soil provide the best environment for vine health.
Creekbend is our commitment to the production of great wine from Indiana-grown grapes. Since the vineyard was re-born in 1994, our wines have gained national reputation for quality. Using the best practices known, we manage Creekbend with one objective: to make the best wine possible and set the standard by which these varieties are judged.
Our long, warm summers allow us to ripen a broad range of grapes. We cultivate rare varietals such as Crimson Cabernet, hardy Catawba and Chambourcin, and challenging vinifera such as Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio.
The Creekbend Collection includes dry wines like Cabernet Sauvignon, Chambourcin, and Chardonel as well as sweeter style wines like Traminette, Catawba, and Vidal Blanc Ice Wine.
Creekbend is open to the public by appointment only. During the summer, we open up for a few special events. Make plans to visit this summer.
