Bien Nacido Pinot Noir
From the acclaimed Bien Nacido Vineyard in the world’s best place to grow this grape variety, our 2013 Pinot Noir. Along with a lush, silky texture, this vintage carries aromas of cherry and raspberry and flavors of berries and violet, with a hint of vanilla from aging in French oak. Tannins are light and of a youthful character. Our partnership with Bien Nacido is the result of Oliver’s decades-old relationship with the Miller family. It is this long relationship that enabled us to purchase a small amount of this rare and highly sought-after fruit.

About Bien Nacido
Bien Nacido Vineyard lies in the Santa Maria Valley in Santa Barbara County, California. The terroir is a combination of the rocky soils, cool climate, and close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. This creates the perfect climate to ripen the challenging Pinot Noir grape. Since its founding in the 1970s, Bien Nacido Vineyards has earned the respect of winemakers, critics, and wine consumers. In 2010 it was named one of Wine and Spirits Magazine’s “Top 25 Vineyards in the World.”
