Stop and take a photo in front of our iconic garden waterfall, home to Jeremiah, the unofficial Oliver Winery mascot. Built in 1997, the Main Tasting Room is home to more than 45 wines, Service is available by the bottle, by the glass, or as part of a tasting. We offer a wide variety of tasting room exclusives you won't find anywhere else. Beyond the wine, our shop is stocked with a selection of gourmet meats and cheeses, perfect for building a picnic or charcuterie board, along with gifts and merchandise for yourself or someone special. Take your picnic outside and enjoy our gardens and picnic grounds, or relax in our three-season pergola, a favorite gathering spot for visitors year-round.

Bring your own picnic, pick up a bottle from our Main Tasting Room, and settle in without a schedule to keep, there's no rush and no reservation required. Wander down toward the pond to feed the fish, keep an eye out for the wildlife that calls our undeveloped acres home, or simply find a patch of shade and watch the afternoon drift by. Claim a picnic table or sink into one of our Adirondack chairs, pour a glass, and let the kids run while the grown-ups catch up. One of our team members will pour you through six wines from our collection, sharing the stories, tasting notes, and little details behind each bottle. Enjoy an outdoor wine tasting experience in our three-season pergola with a Patio Wine Flight at Oliver Winery. Relax on our scenic patio and build your own flight of five wines, choosing from a variety of styles, seasonal favorites. This is our most casual tasting experience, perfect for enjoying with friends or family, no formal tasting required. Whether you're visiting Bloomington, Indiana, searching for a relaxing winery experience, or looking for the perfect spot to gather with the people you love, our Patio Wine Flights offer an easygoing way to discover new favorites at your own pace, picked by you. Pair your flight with small bites, available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Our small bites menu is the perfect companion to your wine flight because good wine deserves good food.

For a deeper dive into Oliver Winery, reserve a seated tasting led by one of our Team Members. Designed for guests 21+, this experience takes place in our Original Tasting room, built in 1973 and remodeled in spring of 2026. You'll slow down and settle into a guided journey through a curated selection of our wines. Your Team Member will teach you how to taste with intention, sharing the history and process behind our winemaking along the way. Just add wine. This experience is ideal for a lunch date, a romantic afternoon getaway, a day out with friends, or a small family get-together in Bloomington, Indiana. Your picnic is set up in a covered seating area, so it's rain or shine — no need to worry about the weather when you book. Throughout your visit, you'll be taken care of by your own Picnic Concierge, a dedicated staff member there to make sure everything is just right. What's Included: An assortment of gourmet meats and cheeses, fresh baked bread, homemade garlic spread, seasonal and dried fruits, and souvenir wine tumbler for each guest. Additional Reservation Details: Due to the nature of this experience, we can only accommodate groups of up to four guests, without exception. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance — we're unable to accept same-day bookings. Wine is not included in this experience.

Learn what it takes to go from vine to wine with a full production tour and tasting experience at one of the country's largest wineries. We'll show you around our beautiful campus and take you behind the scenes of our state-of-the-art winemaking facilities. On this walking tour, learn how we make our award-winning wines and see the equipment that makes it possible. We'll share our unique history within Indiana winemaking — and, of course, share some wine along the way. While this experience is family-friendly, it's curated with our 21+ guests in mind. This experience is ideal for smaller groups, as it's educational and historical in nature. If your party is larger than 6 guests, please reach out to our events team for help with booking. Every October, we raid the candy aisle and pair our favorites with Oliver wines for a sweet (and slightly spooky) twist on wine tasting. This guided tasting features preselected candy and wine pairings, mixing nostalgia, harvest vibes, and some surprisingly perfect matches between your childhood candy stash and a glass of wine. It's silly, it's delicious, and it only sticks around for a little while each fall — so grab your spot before the candy (and the seats) run out.
