Introducing the Oliver Winery Cycling Team
We're excited to share that Oliver Winery is the proud title sponsor of the Oliver Winery Cycling Team for 2026!
Based right here in Bloomington, Indiana, our team of 12 talented riders will be competing in criteriums, road races, gravel events, and more across the state and beyond. Supporting this team of athletes will provide yet another way to demonstrate the dedication, passion, and community spirit that’s been at the heart of Oliver Winery since 1972.
Why Cycling?
At Oliver, we've always believed in bringing people together, whether that’s around a table with a bottle of wine or out on the open road. Cycling also celebrates the same values we hold as a company: perseverance, community, and a deep appreciation for the journey. Supporting this team is a natural extension of our commitment to Indiana and the people who call it home.
Plus, there’s an underlying connection between wine and cycling. Both require patience, precision, and a little bit of grit. Both are best enjoyed with good company, and both remind us to slow down and savor the moment—even when you’re flying downhill at 40 miles per hour.
What's Ahead
Our riders have big goals for the 2026 season. On the race front, the team will be competing at events including the Fat & Skinny Tire Festival, IU Candy Stripe Classic, Momentum Indy, Barry-Roubaix, Kentucky Open Road Race Series, Major Taylor Racing League, Unbound Gravel, and various USA Cycling National Championships. It’s an ambitious calendar that reflects the depth of talent and drive on this roster.
But racing is only part of the story. The team is equally committed to being positive stewards of their communities. Over the course of the year, the team plans to make a meaningful impact in Central and Southern Indiana, bringing a positive culture to the Midwest racing scene, and supporting the growth of women's cycling through education, empowerment, and the advancement of women in sport.
Additionally, Oliver Winery and the cycling team will be hosting events and group rides right here in Bloomington and beyond. Whether you're a seasoned racer or just enjoy a leisurely ride through wine country, we'd love to have you join us.
